So as of now I’m sure everyone has heard as to what happened to that god awful situation of the canadian couple from calgary who went to a hotel in Mexico and apparently in the middle of the night the woman left her room and she was found brutalized inside an elevator. We find out today that Jose Ramon Acosta Quintero is charged with the assault.
Now I tried searching for this discussion on here and I couldn’t find it so I started this one.
Alot of people are left scratching their heads and asking too many questions as to how it happened and why. From what I understand and what the media is saying is that she apparently was walking out from her room "naked", and that the suspect apparently ended up beating her so badly because she was screaming after the man told her to shut up. The article states the suspect is 28 but the video conference reporter states he is 37 (typo?).
When a reporter questions another reported in the case of her being naked, its said that they have yet to confirm from video surveillance if she was indeed naked at the time of the incident but she might of been sleepwalking.
Also, everyone is saying the suspect who is charged is pretty much a scapegoat and theirs alot of hidden agenda missing in the story and that the Mexican authorities are covering something up. I beg to differ because if they really wanted to cover something up they wouldn’t risk letting the woman flown back to Calgary and get her mouth working again to live to tell about the story, I think they can’t afford to lie since she can speak in a few weeks or months and if she says it differently than how it is either way the Mexican authorities will look bad so I exclude that theory about him being a scapegoat.
