It came to my attention when trips, nigerians scammers, business services and carpet cleaning all started calling in Dec . Before that I was down to virtually no telemarketers.

I googled my number only to find that canada 411 now has individual pages for me and millions of canadians and they’ve submitted them all to google.

They listed my home address and name as a business so pretty much nothing can be done about it. when you call they say we don’t remove business and when you say its personal you get the personal dept but they don’t have a listing since your not a person but a business. see the catch 22. just typical scumbag tactics you would expect from a collection agency or pawn shop.

They are also going extra scummy by passing blame to my phone provider, Canada 411 says we don’t list people and if you want to be removed call your phone company and pay to be unlisted. When I called my phone provider they cut me off and said everyone is calling with the same story. My phone company is a VOIP and they don’t even know if I have a business so they would never list me as business.

Clearly canada 411 is failing and now doing keyword spamming in google.

Advice to everyone, check your numbers and delete them because all the calls are scammers or people asking if you want business cards and carpet cleaning from new mexico
